City loop 市区环
It’s easy to understand, it’s just downtown. Metropolitan trains will travel around the city loop and pass by 4 stations (Melbourne central, Flagstaff, Parliament, Southern Cross), which are premium stations. 就是市区，墨尔本地铁会绕着这个开一圈，一共有四个站点。
City circle 市区圈
Similar to city loop and it is specially and deliberately for Metropolitan tram route 35 and it’s free of charge. 专为35路电车设计，免费乘坐，为游客和初到墨尔本的人准备。

Myki has already replaced Metcard on buses, trains and trams and it is no long valid for traveling. 麦德卡，从去年12月28号已被电子车票“你的万能钥匙”取代，再也不能使用。

Introduction 简介
From 29th Dec. 2012, Myki will be the only valid ticket you can travel with public transportation system. 从 12月29号开始，电子车票开始成为唯一的有效车票使用。
Each Myki card can be used for only one person. 每一张电子车票只能被一人使用。

Please proceed to customer service, Myki machine, Bus drivers convenience store and 7-11, or visit webiste for purchasing your Myki.若购买电子车票，请前往官网，车站的服务大厅，电子车票机器，7-11，便利店或在公交车司机处索要
Top up my Myki
If your Myki is in low credit, you are expected to top up to restore a higher balance by visiting website Myki machine, customer service staff, convenience store and 7-11 for recharging service.若充值电子车票，请前往官网，电子车票机器，大厅服务人员或7-11 和 便利店即可解决。
Types of Myki
We have
Full fare( For general public, commuters, overseas students and etc.) Myki card and
General concession (Seniors, students, children, disabled citizens).
The former is 6 dollars for a new anonymous card; the latter is 3 dollars for a new anonymous card.
Fares for concession card are halved compared with fares for normal Myki card. 总的来说，一共有两种电子车票，一种是全票，适合大众社会，上下班工作人员和留学生使用，一种是减价票，适合澳洲公民，残障人士，学生，儿童使用。
You are supposed to have a valid ticket for your journey. Normal ticket-checking officers will randomly pick up any train carriages to check your Myki or travelling permission sheet in any time. Passengers without a valid ticket will incur penalties and may be arrested by public transport authorized officers. 乘客务必需要拥有一张有效的电子车票，否则，一旦被工作人员查到，就会招来很厉害的处罚。
How to use 怎样使用
It’s easy to have a valid myki card, just remember three “Ts”
Top up-Recharge 充值
Touch on- Approach your Myki to the area under info. Screen of a Myki reader while getting on. 上车刷卡，只需在电子车票打卡机一刷，就已经购买了一张有效地车票
Touch off-Approach your Myki to the area under Info. Screen of a Myki reader while getting off for the lowest fees.下车刷卡，若不下车刷卡，电子车票的余额可能会被无端扣费
Your Myki balance will be deducted only once in every 2 hours if you hold a 2-hour Myki card, or if you have a Myki pass for a certain zone that you applied for, balance will not be deducted. 电子车票的收费方式很简单，在两个小时内，在一区，就是3.5澳元，超过2小时，就会有另外的3.5澳元被扣除。

Hints for your journey 小提示
1. Passengers seating on special seats(except special passengers) should vacate seats to those who are travelling with luggage.请给有行李的乘客让座
2. Pets, such as dogs, cats, are allowed to board on public transport service without any additional fees.宠物可以乘车
3. Smart buses, trains (V-line excluded) are equipped with GPS and stop-reporting system.智能公交和地铁都配备有报站器和GPS
4.Limited express form, it means public transport will skip some of the stations or stops. Passengers are advised to check the electronic boards or listen to announcement to make sure whether the station or stop you want are scheduled to arrive.跳线车，顾名思义只停部分站点，请乘客留意电子板的信息，避免上错车
5. Passengers are expected to watch your steps because there is no protection on the edge of platform. When services depart, please stand clear.在上下车时，要当心，不要摔下站台。
6. If you are tired to your journey and if you want to kill your time, free newspaper-MX would be a nice choice to you to pick up for your dull journey.MX报纸是免费的，乘客可以在地铁站拿到
7. You should keep your eyes open to check bus stops. Some of the names for bus stops may not be exactly the same even they are opposite on the same street. Some of the bus stops and tram stops are with voice system to inform how long the next service is going to take, and electronic boards will be a good indication for estimated arrival time. Every bus, tram, train service abide by timetable attached on the bus stop to dispatch services. Most of the services are punctual. However, all services are subject to road condition and it will not be surprise if service is early or late. 请注意，两个站点，尽管相对，但是名字也会不一样。有些站点会有智能报站系统，通知乘客下一班车什么时候到站。大部分公共交通系统会遵守粘贴在车站的时间表来发车，所以他们基本很准时，但是，因为道路交通原因，有些车会迟到或早到。
8. Important: Tram and bus services do not need to stop all stations except drivers are told so. Passengers should press “stop button” to notify drivers to stop, otherwise you will miss your stop.注意，公交车和电车是不会每一站都停的，乘客要提前告知司机他们在哪里下车，只需要按下按钮，车就会在下站停车。否则，错过了站点，大家都会很郁闷。
9. Same bus or tram route heading to different destinations may stop at a same single bus or tram station. You should look at top and front of the bus or tram to see where it goes. 注意，一个车，驶往不同方向的服务，可能会停在同一个站，所以乘客一定要注意看车前头，车是去哪里的
10. There is sth worth to be mentioned here, all Metropolitan trains (except V-Line) will stop at every station less than 30 seconds, customers should open the doors by themselves while the first tone sounds, and wait for passengers getting off. When trains depart, a second tone sounds and doors will close automatically.地铁会在每一站停最多30秒，上车的乘客必须要等下车的乘客下来，方能上车。地铁的车门需要乘客自己打开，当第一声”滴“响时，就可以拉开车门，当第二声响时，门会自动关上，车会立马离站。
11. Crossing or walking alone tracks for trams and trains is strictly prohibited, penalties apply.行人不可以沿着或跨越地铁和电车轨道，否则，会被处罚
12. For disabled, senior citizens, passengers with prams, drivers will let buses down to be parallel with pedestrian road, to keep these kinds of passengers getting on easily.特殊乘客，有行李，婴儿车，或残障老年人士，司机会将车头降下来与人行道平行，方便此类乘客上车
13. Myki readers sometimes are out of order in trams or buses, so passengers do not have to touch on and touch off. Additionally, drivers will not check your ticket. However, passengers caught not having a valid ticket will be forced walking out from carriages and they will be ticketed.电子车票读取机有时会不工作，所以乘客不需买票。司机也会不介意乘客违法乘车。但是，如果乘客不买地铁的车票，一旦被查住，就会招来罚款。

The reject shop not just sell the cheap products, but sell out of date products as well. Don’t worry if you buy expired products, they are not harmful to your body.拒绝高价商店会卖很便宜的东西，但也会卖过期商品，当然，都是还可以使用的商品，不必担心安全问题。
For electronic products, you can visit Harvey Norman, Dick Smith, The good guys and JB HIFI to see what are they selling now.如果要购买电子产品，可以前往哈维诺曼，迪克史密斯，好人商场，和JBHIFI，可以购买到任何产品，苹果，三星，戴尔，惠普等等，以及一切家庭用的电器。
7-11 and City Convenience Store are small shop for residents living nearby. They are opening for around the clock and never close.7-11和便利店是提供给附近居民方便的地方，都是24小时营业的，但是物价偏高。
